Spanish actors Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz have joined the ranks of Oscar-winning married couples after tying the knot in the Bahamas, Cruz’s spokeswoman confirmed.
The family-only ceremony took place at a friend's house earlier this month.
Cruz wore a John Galliano dress during the private wedding.
The couple appeared together in Woody Allen's 2008 romantic comedy Vicky Cristina Barcelona, for which Cruz won a supporting actress Oscar.
Bardem won a best supporting Oscar for his role in the Coen Brothers' 2007 crime thriller No Country For Old Men, in which he played Anton Chigurh, a relentless Mexican hitman.
