Permanent tsb today unveiled a 1 per cent reduction in normal lending rate for money used for certain "green" home improvements.
According to the bank, an initial €10 million has been set aside for the scheme which will apply to borrowings for insulation, doubleglazing, solar energy systems, environmentally friendly boilers and heaters, heat pumps and wind turbines.
