TIBANA - Anti government demonstrations went ahead in Tirana and two other regions in Albania yesterday despite a ban imposed by the authorities earlier in the day. The marches were organised by the independent trade unions.
The protests have been taking place since the middle of last month over alleged government backing for failed get rich quick savings schemes.
