Chicago - The US balloonist, Kevin Uliassi, failed in his bid to float around the world when equipment problems forced him to land in Indiana, three hours after he took off from Chicago, his support group said.
"The flight of the J. Renee (balloon named after his wife of one year) ended about three hours and 15 minutes after its launch on New Year's Eve," the J. Renee control centre said.
