Bloodstains on a jacket linked an IRA suspect to a paramilitary arsenal. It was alleged in the High Court in Belfast yesterday.A Crown lawyer said a DNA profile of the stains matched the blood of Mr Colm Pius McElwee (33), of Shringfield Park, Bellaghy, Co Derry.He is charged with possessing two rockets containing Semtex and a loaded AKM rifle with intent to endanger life. Opposing bail, the Crown lawyer said a green bomber jacket was found along with the rifle and explosives at the home of a pensioner in Dungiven last November.A defending barrister said Mr McElwee was denying the charges.Bail was refused by Lord Justice McCollum.
