MANAMA - Bahrain yesterday denied an opposition claim that it had arrested 60 children in connection with political unrest in the Gulf state. "The claim is incorrect. It is completely baseless," a government official said.
The London based Bahrain Freedom Movement said in a statement yesterday that Bahrain - scene of sporadic unrest over the last two years - had arrested 60 children, most of them under 16 years old.
