SYDNEY - An Australian roadworker accused of murdering seven backpackers and dumping their mutilated bodies in a remote forest outside Sydney entered the witness stand yesterday and calmly protested his innocence. Asked if he had been involved in the murders between 1989 and 1992, Mr Ivan Milat (51) told the court: "No way at all."
