SHAUNA Whelan, a 15 month baby girl from Dublin, who had a liver and kidney transplant in a London hospital, was "stable" yesterday, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
Shauna, who had an advanced form of liver disease, is in King's College Hospital, where the operation was carried out earlier this week.
Her parents, Pat and Susan Whelan, who have three other children, were at her bedside in the intensive care department of the hospital yesterday, the spokeswoman added.
