Eileen Nolan, founder of the 51-year-old Montfort Stage School, has been presented with the Cork Person of the Month award.
She was presented with the award in the course of a tribute show which was held in her honour at the Everyman Palace Theatre in Cork city on Sunday night.
Ms Nolan’s friends staged the tribute show at the theatre to mark her life’s work in her native Cork as a teacher, producer and director.
