An 18-year-old Australian woman was killed yesterday morning when the car in which she was a passenger overturned near Woodford, Co Galway. The accident happened at around 6.30 a.m. in the townland of Coose North. The driver, an 18-year-old man, received injuries when the car mounted an embankment before overturning. The woman is understood to have been on holiday.
