Canberra - A pre-election opinion poll showed the Labor opposition ahead of the ruling conservatives, with support for Ms Pauline Hanson and her far-right One Nation party dropping to 7 per cent. The Australian newspaper's Newspoll showed support for Labor had risen to 44 per cent compared with 42 per cent for the Liberal-National coalition government.
