Gardaí are searching for a number of raiders after an attempted armed robbery in Drogheda yesterday.
The incident occurred during an attempted cash delivery at an ATM in Marian Park, Drogheda, Co Louth at about 3pm. A lone gunman approached the cash delivery and attempted to hold it up. The man escaped in a car which pulled up to take him away.
No shots were fired, no money was taken and nobody was injured in the incident. Gardaí in Drogheda are investigating.
