BROMSGROVE - The soccer manager, Ron Atkinson, yesterday spoke of his wife's 13 hour ordeal when she was left handcuffed to the stairs by a gang of masked raiders who stole cash and jewellery from their home.
Standing outside his mansion in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, the Coventry City manager said he had been unaware of his wife Maggie's plight as he gave a live commentary on Wednesday night's Juventus v Real Madrid European football tie.
