The sentencing of two Sligo men found guilty of an assault on a gay American writer, Mr Robert Drake, which has left him in a wheelchair, has been adjourned until today at Sligo Circuit Court. Glen Mahon (22), of Banks Drive, Cranmore, and Ian Monaghan (21), of Ashbrook, Pearse Road, were found guilty of intentionally or recklessly causing serious harm to Mr Drake in his Sligo flat.
