Two brothers charged with assaulting a 79-year-old man in the early hours of yesterdaymorning were remanded in custody at Drogheda at Drogheda District Court yesterday.
Mr Anthony Smith (20) and Mr Barry Smith (18) of Mountain View Crescent, Dundalk,were both charged with assaulting him in his home at Market Street, Dundalk, with intentto rob.
Judge Flann Brennan remanded the men in custody to Dundalk District Court next Wednesday
