London - The British Prime Minister, Mr Tony Blair, signalled a historic act of political co-operation yesterday when he formally offered Liberal Democrats seats on a cabinet committee.
The Liberal Democrats warmly welcomed the agreement, with their leader, Mr Paddy Ashdown, promising "constructive co-operation". - (PA)
