Belgrade - The British Liberal Democrat leader, Mr Paddy Ashdown, yesterday emerged from talks with the Serbian President, Mr Slobodan Milosevic, saying he had received pledges for a quick end to the violence in Kosovo. Mr Ashdown visited the Serb leader in Belgrade after a two-day tour of the troubled province.
