A man has been arrested following the seizure of cannabis valued at more than €40,000 in Co Sligo.
Gardaí and Revenue officials made the discovery when they searched a property at Chapel Hill Road yesterday afternoon.
About 4kg of herbal cannabis was found during the search. The haul has been valued at €44,000.
A man (28) was arrested under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996. He is being detained at Sligo Garda station.
