A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a house in Galway city in the early hours of yesterday. The shotgun attack took place at approximately 5.15am at a house in Glenbaun, Ballybane.
A number of people were in the house at the time but nobody was injured in the incident.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Glenbaun area to contact them at 091 538000.
