Gardai last night arrested a man after the seizure of £10,000 worth of ecstasy tablets in a flat in Cork city. The 1,000 tablets were found by Cork City Divisional Drugs Squad backed by gardai from Mayfield and Watercourse Road after surveillance on the flat at Upper John Street.
The man, in his 20s, was arrested under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act and brought to Mayfield Garda station for questioning.
