Three members of staff at a Co Down car dealers were tied up and threatened during a robbery last night.

Three members of staff at a Co Down car dealers were tied up and threatened during a robbery last night.

One of them was injured when he was hit in the face with a shotgun.

Three masked men, one armed with the shotgun, another with a knife and the third with a baseball bat, forced their way into a house beside Roxforde Cars in Ballynahinch and tied up two male occupants.

They then went into the dealership where they grabbed a woman, tied her up and carried her into the house.

All three were threatened and one of the men was struck with the gun before the house was ransacked.

The men made off with a number of items, including a black Honda car which was later found burned out.
