Gardaí in Galway are investigating a robbery on a betting office in the village of Oranmore.
One man, armed with a weapon - thought to be a knife - threatened a female member of staff at Mulhollands betting office at 11 a.m.
He stole a what is described as a "small amount of cash" before making his escape on foot.
