Armagh Orange hall damaged in arson attack

Police in the North are investigating an arson attack on an Orange hall early this morning.

Police in the North are investigating an arson attack on an Orange hall early this morning.

The Ballyrea Orange Hall, just outside Armagh city, was badly damaged in the attack, which police say was malicious. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 2 a.m.

Nobody was in the building at the time of the fire and there were no injuries. Police believe the hall was broken into through a side window before it was set alight.
