Weekend revellers could hold the key to a shooting in north Dublin, gardai said tonight.

A 23-year-old man is recovering in Beaumont Hospital after been shot in the early hours of yesterday morning.

His injuries are not life threatening.

Gardai at Howth are investigating the shooting at 12.50am on Warrenhouse Road, Baldoyle.

Officers are appealing to anyone who attended a function at Graingers Public House or who was in the vicinity of Main Street and Warrenhouse Road between midnight Saturday and 1am Sunday to come forward.
