Gardaí have renewed their appeal for witnesses to the murder of a man in Ballsbridge, south Dublin, earlier this week.

Mr Eldin Palangic (38), who was originally from Croatia but who had been living in Ireland for 12 years, died from multiple stab wounds to his body and neck. His body was discovered on the floor of his Pembroke Road apartment at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

Following a post-mortem, gardaí launched a murder investigation. However, last night, they said they had made no arrests in relation to the murder and appealed for anyone who knew Mr Palangic or who had any information about the attack, to contact Donnybrook Garda station.

Detectives would particularly like to talk to anyone who had been talking to Mr Palangic in the days leading up to his death.
