Appeal against hotel complex

Work on a £6 million hotel leisure complex and holiday cottage scheme at Enniscrone, Co Sligo, could be delayed following an objection from the North Western Regional Fisheries Board. In its objection to Sligo County Council, the board maintained the proposal does not make adequate provision for the protection of water quality. It is likely to go before a hearing of An Bord Pleanala.
