Apology

A report from the Supreme Court headed "Appeal by ESB against decision involving contractors dismissed" in yesterday's editions included two contradictory statements as to the findings of an earlier High Court hearing on whether the ESB had abused its dominant position in the market by introducing new conditions. In tact, on May 5th, 1994, the High Court found that the ESB had unintentionally abused its dominant position in the period September to November 1992.
