A Limerick city antique dealer was discharged from hospital yesterday after being treated for stab wounds sustained in an attack by a robber.

Just before Mr Lionel Sexton (64) locked up his shop on Lower Henry Street on Tuesday evening a man entered and asked to see an antique plate. He produced a knife, tied the owner up and stabbed him twice in the neck and hand. The assailant ran off with jewellery land cash.
