ONE of the anti-drug movements in Dublin has asked the public to vote against the proposed changing of the bail laws in the November 28th referendum.

The Coalition of Communities Against Drugs said the proposed change, which would allow a court to refuse bail if it thought the accused person might commit a new offence "seriously undermines a cornerstone of our criminal justice system, namely the principle of innocence until proven guilty".
