LUANDA - The Angolan parliament yesterday agreed to grant amnesty for military crimes and crimes against the state carried out since May 1991. The amnesty, put to parliament by UNITA, would amnesty members of that former rebel movement who fought against the government in Angola's nearly two decade civil war.
