A man drowned after falling into the sea while fishing off Kerry Head yesterday

A man drowned after falling into the sea while fishing off Kerry Head yesterday. A second man, who unsuccessfully fried to rescue the angler after he got into difficulties, reported the incident to gardai from a house at Dreenagh, some distance from the scene of the accident. The dead man's body was recovered half an hour later by the Shannon based Irish Marine Emergency Service rescue helicopter.
