HANOI - The US Secretary of State, Ms Madeleine Albright, arrived in Vietnam yesterday at the start of a two-day visit intended to strengthen ties between the former enemies. It is the second visit by a US Secretary of State since the Vietnam War ended in 1975. Ms Albright was greeted on arrival by Vietnam's Vice-Foreign Minister, Mr Nguyen Dinh Bin.
