Albanian claim discounted

Belgrade - The former Yugoslavia has denied a claim by Albanian separatists that they shot down a Yugoslav Airlines training aircraft, killing five people. The shadowy Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) said last week it shot down the aircraft. But it is not known whether the KLA is a genuine Albanian organisation or a secret creation of Serbia's security forces, whose aim is to fan Serbian nationalist hostility towards the Kosovo Albanians.
