TEAM Aer Lingus and Aer Lingus plc were given permission in the High Court yesterday to serve a summons on an airline in Nigeria which they claim owes them almost £10 million. The court was told the money was owed for maintenance work carried out for Nigerian Airways Ltd with an address in Lagos.

Justice Morris gave the plaintiffs permission to serve a summary summons for debt outside the jurisdiction in Nigeria.
