London - British Airways yesterday revealed that its ban on author Salman Rushdie is still in place - nearly a decade after he was sentenced to death in Iran for alleged blasphemy against Islam in his novel The Satanic Verses.
BA officials confirmed yesterday that the ban was still in place as it launched non-stop flights between London and Tehran.
