AIDS victims remembered

An AIDS Candlelight Memorial Service was held last night at St Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin

An AIDS Candlelight Memorial Service was held last night at St Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin. The multi denominational service, an annual event, honours the memory of those who have died as a result of AIDS.

At the ceremony the Irish names quilt was displayed and the names of the more than 200 people who have died in Ireland from AIDS related illnesses were read out. New panels for the quilt were also presented.
