AIB to offer 4% for current accounts

AIB opened a new current account which pays interest higher than the European Central Bank rate.

AIB opened a new current account which pays interest higher than the European Central Bank rate.

The new account will be available from March 5th and will pay 4 per cent interest on balances up to €1,500.

"At 4 per cent AER this new account pays customers the best rate currently available in the personal market, and they can avail of it without incurring additional fixed monthly or quarterly fees," the bank said.
