AIB’s finance director John O’Donnell – one of the three most senior directors at the bank – has retired from the lender’s board.
The decision was announced at the end of April when the then chief executive Eugene Sheehy, chairman Dermot Gleeson and Mr O’Donnell all said they would be stepping down.
Mr O’Donnell’s left his position yesterday.
