Nineteen Afghan labourers heading home from work were killed today in an ambush in southern Afghanistan, the Interior Ministry said.
It was reported that the workers' bus was blown up, and gunmen then opened fire.
The men were heading home for the beginning of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
