Aer Lingus has taken three prizes in the annual Irish Travel Trade News awards, which were presented by the Minister for Public Enterprise, Ms O'Rourke, in Dublin last night. It won the best airline Ireland-Europe, best transatlantic airline and best travel marketing campaign awards.

The best major tour operator award went to Falcon Holidays, with Budget Travel the runner-up. A special award was made to Mr Ted Greene, managing director of Arrow Tours, Drogheda, Co Louth, which has been operating for 40 years. Arrow Tours also won best short break tour operator.
