Aer Lingus has announced the introduction of four new European routes to its winter schedule and the recommencement of two former routes.

The new services - from Dublin to Helsinki, Bucharest, Agadir and Funchal - will begin in October.

The airline will also recommence services from Dublin to Copenhagen and Cork to Munich and will

add 25 new flights a week from Dublin and Cork on existing routes.

Routes from Dublin to Vilnius and Cork to Manchester that were introduced for this summer have been extended to the winter schedule.

Additional capacity will also be added on 14 existing European routes from Dublin and Cork.
