The extra services will run from Liege in Belgium to London Luton and Birmingham in the United Kingdom and Lorient, south Brittany, in France.

A further two routes will be added from London Luton to Angers, in the Loire Valley, and Cardiff to Lorient in South Brittany.

This brings to 10 the total number of new routes planned for summer 2006; Aer Arann expects the five new routes to be up and running by mid-May.

The regional airline operates more than 500 flights per week, with 16 UK, five domestic and five French routes.
