London - Greek warships challenged two Turkish cargo vessels in international waters in the Aegean Sea early on yesterday morning, but pulled back when Turkish naval vessels arrived, Turkish television said.
The report, monitored by the BBC, said the Greek ships had flashed warning lights at the Turkish vessels and asked them by radio to identify their ports of origin and destination, nationality and gross tonnage.
