Tehran - An Iranian actor is writing a film script on Salman Rushdie, the British author who lives under guard against an eight-year-old threat of death for "blasphemy". Mr Jahangir Almasi he was moved by the political climate dominating European countries to expose what he called "the sinister nature of this phenomenon".
Through the medium of the cinema, Mr Almasi said he would draw the world's public opinion "to this Zionist conspiracy".
