Gardai in Cork yesterday named the woman fatally injured in a traffic accident near Ballincollig on Thursday as Ms Margaret Ann Lenihan (22).
She was removed by ambulance to Cork University Hospital but died an hour later. Her boyfriend, who was driving, sustained a broken ankle. Gardai in Ballincollig have appealed for witnesses to the accident.
