Compensation of £1.4 million was awarded yesterday to a man who has been left a quadriplegic after a road accident. Mr Pascal Rooney (25), from Drumreagh Road, Rostrevor, Co Down, was a passenger in a van involved in a crash on the Newry-Belfast road in November 1995.
