A man who was two steps away from a footpath when he was struck by a car was awarded £88,386 in the High Court in Cork.

A man who was two steps away from a footpath when he was struck by a car was awarded £88,386 in the High Court in Cork.

Mr Justice Lavan held that Mr Finbarr Fitzgerald, of Marine Park, Windmill Road, Cork, was 25 per cent responsible for the accident in when he received serious injuries. Mr Fitzgerald sued Mr Peter Quinn, Kinnelea, Carrigaline, Co Cork, the driver of the car.
