The Minister for Education has no objection to an inquiry being set up to investigate reports of abuse at the Goldenbridge Orphanage in Dublin.

Ms Breathnach told RTE's Questions and Answers programme last night that she would "open cupboard doors" if it was felt necessary, but she said that records dating from the 1950s and 1960s would not be comprehensive.
