IN Dublin publisher Michael could have been forgiven for feeling a slight touch of deja vu when his magazine hosted its first Journalists' Journalist Awards in Doheny and Nesbitts pub in Dublin. Not only was current In Dublin editor John Ryan present, but so too were predecessors Siobhan Cronin and Damien Corless. Corless cheerfully revealed that he has just signed a contract with Lilliput Press to produce a book of his Dublin Feuds series from the magazine later this year, and declared: "Some of the feuds in the book are too juicy for In Dublin to publish". The winner of the Journalist's Journalist award was Sam Smyth, who was present along with the legendary Con Houlihan, and best columnist winner Declan Lynch, and a horde of hacks in their familiar drinking territory.
