When the wine connoisseurs and foodies of Dublin got together to celebrate the publication of Jacinta Delahaye's Wine Annual, A Handbook For Irish Consumers, it could only be a vintage gathering. The guest list reads like a who's who of Irish wine: Didier Fiat, the sommelier of the K Club; Roberto Pons of the Killiney Castle hotel; Jean Smullen, head of the Wine Development Board of Ireland; Damon Crowe of Cassidy Wines; Redmond Gavin, wine buyer for Quinnsworth; and wine distributor Pedro Reynolds.
I mean, the names would give it away really, wouldn't they?
